Unique antacid barrier relieves heartburn caused by acid reflux. Gaviscon is specially formulated for the temporary relief of heartburn due to acid reflux. Gaviscon is not indicated for the treatment of peptic ulcers. Directions: Chew 2 to 4 tablets four times a day or as directed by a physician. Tablets should be taken after meals and at bedtime or as needed. For best results follow by a half of glass of water or other liquid. DO NOT SWALLOW WHOLE. Ingredients: Active Ingredients: Aluminum hydroxide dried gel 160 mg. Magnesium Carbonate 105 mg. Inactive Ingredients: alginic acid, calcium stearate, flavor, sodium bicarbonate, starch, and sucrose. May contain stearic acid. Contains sorbitol or mannitol. May contain starch.
