Once available by prescription only, Opcon-A combines an antihistamine with a
redness reliever for the temporary relief of itchy, red eyes
Directions:
Adults and children 6 years of age and older: Instill 1 or 2 drops in the
affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily. After instilling drops in the eye, some users may
experience a brief tingling sensation.

Pheniramine maleate 0.315%, Naphazoline hydrochloride 0.02675%
Inactive
Ingredients:
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 0.5%. Sodium Chloride and purified water with a boric acid
and sodium borate buffer system preserved with benzalkonium Chloride 0.01% and edetate
disodium 0.1%. The solution has a pH of 5.5 - 6.3 and a tonicity of 270 - 335 mOsm/kg.
Warning:
If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye,
or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and
consult a physician. Overuse of this product may produce increased redness of the eye.
Do not use this product if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, difficulty in
urination or narrow angle glaucoma unless directed by a physician. Do not use in children
under 6 years of age unless directed by a physician. Keep this and all drugs out of the
reach of children.
Remove contact lenses before using. If this solution changes color or becomes cloudy,
do not use.
Storage:
Store at room temperature 59F - 86F (15C – 30C). Protect from light. Use before the
expiration date marked on the carton or bottle.
